Hello, I'm Julie! I have had the pleasure of working with children for the last 25 years in either their homes or in a school. I offer 1:1 private tutoring focusing on reading, including decoding strategies using Orton-Gillingham method, an interactive, multi-sensory intensive program. This approach is perfect for students with dyslexia or those who are not making sufficient progress and want a solid foundation in reading. I have experience working with children with special needs, including ASD and ADHD. I am able to help both children and adults improve their English language skills and am CELTA certified. I am a very patient and nurturing person who embraces each child's unique personality and abilities. Some classes are available virtually, please inquire if this method is prefered.
