About Julie

Hello, I'm Julie! As a CELTA-certified native English teacher from the U. K., I bring over 15 years of experience teaching English as a Second Language to learners of all ages and levels. In addition to ESL, I specialize in helping children who struggle with reading, including those with dyslexia or other learning challenges. I am trained in the Orton-Gillingham method, which focuses on phonics and multisensory learning strategies, and I have seen many children grow in confidence and ability through this approach. My teaching style is student-centered, patient, and encouraging. I always adapt lessons to each learner's needs and interests, ensuring they feel comfortable and motivated to practice speaking, reading, and writing. I believe that learning should be engaging, practical, and confidence-building.
