About Julia

Hi! I'm a 27-year-old early childhood education major. I've been working with children since I was 14, including babysitting, assistant directing children's theater productions, working with children with special needs, and teaching preschool in a federal building, which involves a high-security clearance. Most recently, I've nannied for 5-month-old twin infants until they were 16 months, and for a 2-month-old infant until she was 8 months, maintaining close relationships with both families. I've worked with children 2 months old to 14 years old, and can provide references upon request! I believe that the most important job of a caretaker is to allow the child to explore and discover their world freely, curiously, and safely while providing developmentally-appropriate experiences to help nurture a sense of confidence and wonder.
