About Julia

Hi! I am Julia and I am a licensed elementary teacher in Washington and Oregon and am currently working as a special education teacher. I have tons of experience working with children in and out of schools. I nannied/babysat on and off for 9+ years with kids aged 7 months-14 years and have tutored/taught kindergarten-5th grade kids. I also was a home care aid for adults with disabilities for two years. My approach to babysitting is always kid centered. It is important to me to meet their emotional and physical needs while engaging in dialogue that helps them effectively communicate and work through their feelings. I am currently looking for a full time, summer only nanny position (middle of June to Middle of August). Let me know if you think I would be a good fit!
