About Julia Teresa

I would describe my personality as patient, calm, and understanding. I believe that every student is unique, and so is their path to success. Tutoring gives me the chance to support the next generation by helping them discover and cultivate their own approach to learning. I first began tutoring in college, working with the children of my coaches and family friends. Since then, I've come to value building lasting relationships with students and their families. I'm especially interested in recurring tutoring opportunities, where I can offer consistent support and watch my students grow over time. My strengths include creating relatable analogies to explain complex topics, identifying areas where students are struggling, and keeping an open line of communication. I strive to be flexible and open to suggestions-my priority is always doing what's best for your child. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy going on walks, reading, and discovering new recipes to cook.
