About Julia

Hi! I'm Julia. I'm an elementary teacher in the Portland Public School system, looking for a summer position-I'd be open to weekends and evenings throughout the school year, as well! I have a decade of experience as a teacher, museum educator, nanny and paraprofessional. I've worked with all kinds of awesome kids, with many types and levels of need (including academically gifted and kids with severe behavioral and developmental problems-I'm happy to go into more detail if we speak further!). I love laughing and spending time with kids, having fun and learning all about this beautiful world! History, art, and the natural world are my passions! I'd look forward to spending lots of time with your kids exploring the woods and beaches, going to the library and playground and children's museum, baking and doing art projects at home.
