I grew up with a younger brother & sister, who I helped my mother take care of. Even as a child I enjoyed helping and taking care of others. Throughout my years attending school I volunteered in the Best Buddies program, and tutored one of my peers in American Sign Language. Outside of school I went to church, where I volunteered in the nursery, Sunday school classes, and a class for children with special needs. I also would babysit for family friends, when possible. In addition to caring for children, I had many pets growing up. I volunteered at the North Attleboro Animal Shelter, where I fed and played with the homeless cats. People would also pay me to take care of their pets while they were on vacation, or away during the day.
