My name is Julia and I'm a rising fourth year nursing student looking for a summer position! I hope to become a neonatal or pediatric nurse, focusing on GI, complex medical needs, or critical care/ICU. In addition to my 8 years of experience with babysitting, I have 2 years of experience working with an elementary school age child with cerebral palsy and epilepsy. In addition to general entertainment and care, I do respiratory therapy, G tube care, transferring, and helping with an eye gaze device. I have extensive experience with feeding tubes and central lines. I also work with a child undergoing OIT for a severe peanut allergy, and have experience with food allergies and celiac disease. I am a patient, compassionate, and organized caregiver who is passionate about supporting children's development and care.
