About Julia

Hello! I'm a graduate student at Nazareth College currently studying Bilingual Speech Pathology with a deaf specialization. I have undergraduate degrees in Speech and Hearing Science and speak Spanish, Portuguese, ASL, Italian, and French at varying conversational levels. I am currently a Spanish tutor in language lab for students in intermediate and advanced classes and also teach some classes to students from zero. I was a Spanish tutor in undergrad to high school students for 3 years and began tutoring in high school. I've lived in Spain with host families twice for a total of a year and a half and was last in Spain for a month last August. I've worked with bilingual children with communication disorders aged 3-11 in my bilingual therapy placement at School #22 and am familiar with Latin American dialects as well. I also have experience giving English lessons to native speakers of other languages, with an emphasis on pronunciation and grammar. Message me to learn more!
