About Julia

Hello! I'm a young professional looking primarily for summer work! I have a M. S. in Bilingual Speech Pathology with a deaf specialization. I have B. A. s in Speech and Hearing Science and am proficient in Spanish, Portuguese, and ASL. I am currently a Spanish teacher working in a small school for neurodivergent middle and high schoolers. In grad school, I was a Spanish tutor in language lab for students in intermediate and advanced classes. I was a Spanish tutor in undergrad to high school students for 3 years and began tutoring in high school. I've lived in Spain with host families twice for a total of a year and a half. I've worked with deaf children, autistic children, and students with diverse needs throughout my career thus far and am happy to use my expertise in speech pathology to support your child! To be candid, I am a neurodivergent adult myself who has ADHD, so I love working with young neurodivergent individuals as well as neurotypical children to share my knowledge.
