About Julia

I'm originally from Manhattan, NY, and currently living in Poughkeepsie while attending college. Throughout the years, I've always found myself in babysitting and childcare roles, and over time, I've realized that this is where I truly thrive. With years of experience in childcare, plus five years as a sleepaway camp counselor, I've honed the skills to create safe, structured, and fun environments for kids. Growing up as the oldest of three siblings also gave me a strong foundation in caregiving. As a camp counselor, I not only organized and led activities but also learned how to adapt to a variety of situations, manage different age groups, and foster teamwork and communication. I truly enjoy creating a balance of fun and structure that encourages both growth and play. I'm a friendly and approachable caregiver who values clear communication with parents whether it's about a child's day or any concerns that come up.
