I developed the passion and enthusiasm for taking care of children at age 4, when my little brother was born. Nurturing young children has always been my calling and my greatest joy in life. After beginning my career as a nanny, I then trained in occupational therapy and had the delight of helping children with special needs improve their skills in multiple developmental areas. I have since returned to my first love, nannying, bringing with me a huge pool of new knowledge and experience to benefit the children and families I will be working with - including conversational Spanish! I am playful, affectionate and caring. I love games, arts and crafts, reading, exploring nature, and I'm also known to sing regularly! I try to incorporate learning into all parts of the daily routine, emphasizing language development, motor skills, and social interaction. Current references available upon request!

Julia has been our baby's nanny for a year till now when he is transitioning to daycare and she has done an excellent job. She has been able to leverage her past experience working as an occupational therapist with children to get our son to start working several months earlier than average. She is very involved in teaching him and is always talking to him to build his vocabulary quickly. She is very loving and our baby essentially treats her like his third parent. Although we hired her as a nanny for our baby, our other child also loves spending time with her and is always asking when Ms. Julia is coming. She has done an excellent job as a nanny and we would fully recommend her!
