About Julia

Hello! I'm Julia, and I absolutely adore animals. When I was younger it took a lot of convincing to get my parents to agree to a dog-and later two cats. I'm not sure how I pulled it off, but I'm so glad I did! I love my pets as well as every animal I've had the chance to spend time with. I grew up around family members who owned rabbits, birds, fish, hamsters, lizards, and even aquatic turtles-no exclusions here! I never hesitate when asked to pet sit for family or friends and always make sure I understand the proper care for each animal. I believe good pet care comes from knowledge and understanding, and I find learning about different types of animal care really rewarding. I've handled many types of dogs, from big Labs to chunky Corgis to tiny Yorkies, and I also enjoy grooming rabbits and long-haired cats. My availability is very flexible. I'm currently in Portland but originally from Utah, and I'm excited to meet some new furry friends!
