I recently retired in Aug 2025 (earlier than planned) after a career spanning almost 35 years. For my 2nd career, I decided to care for babies! I have 1 grown child. When she was young, I often kept my friends' small children on evenings / weekends. I've always adored babies and volunteered in church nurseries over the years. Currently I'm working as nanny to a 4-month-old baby on Tuesdays & Thursdays. In July 2025 I took a course / got a certificate in child and infant CPR and first aid. I joined the International Nanny's Association (INA) and took some newborn care training. I also took the INA's assessment test for a "newborn care specialist" and got an "A" score. I think babies are precious gifts from God. References available upon request. Skills: *100% attentive and talk a lot to babies in my care. *Responsible, focused, not easily sidetracked. *Singer and babies love me to sing to them! I look forward to having the privilege of taking care of babies soon!
