I recently retired in Aug 2025 (earlier than planned) after a career spanning almost 35 years. For my 2nd career, I decided to care for babies! I have 1 grown child. When she was young, I often kept my friends' small children on evenings / weekends. I've always adored babies and volunteered in church nurseries over the years. Currently I'm working as nanny to a 5-month-old baby on Tuesdays & Thursdays. In July 2025 I took a course / got a certificate in child and infant CPR and first aid. I joined the International Nanny's Association (INA) and took some newborn care training. I also took the INA's assessment test for a "newborn care specialist" and got an "A" score. I think babies are precious gifts from God. References available upon request. Skills: *100% attentive and talk a lot to babies in my care. *Responsible, focused, not easily sidetracked. *Singer and babies love me to sing to them! I look forward to having the privilege of taking care of more babies soon!

I was a little nervous about hiring a part time nanny to care for my 4 month old baby when I started back to work last September. A family friend had agreed to keep him on Mon Wed & Fri, but we had no one to keep him on Tues & Thurs. I decided to try nCare.com and prayed I could find a decent nanny here. Julia has exceeded my expectations. She retired last summer and she could earn more working part time in the field she worked in before, but she said she wanted to do something she enjoys and it's clear she loves taking care of babies. She's responsible - always on time and has never called out - and she entertains and cares for my son very well. She also does light housekeeping like dishes and baby laundry while my son is napping and she's eager to notice and help with other small things in the house. We're glad we found her on this site!
