About Julia

Hi everyone! I'm 24 years old and have been working with kids for over 8 years now. I got my start at 15 as a birthday party hostess at a bowling alley, running parties for groups of 15-30 kids. After that, I worked in after-school daycare while also doing vacation rental cleanings for 3 years. For the past 4 summers, I've been living and working on Catalina Island as a camp counselor where I care for 10 kids at a time, helping with behaviour and always making them feel heard. I am now a Girls Camp Director in the summers, where I oversee staff and handle any emergencies. On top of that, I've been a full-time nanny for the past 2. 5 years for three young boys. One right home from the hospital! I successfully found a passion that combined my love for childcare with my eye for keeping a home running smoothly. Finally, I am in school working toward becoming an LCSW therapist so I am very open! I truly love what I do and would be happy to bring that same care to your family. Talk soon!
