I took care of my mother with dementia until such time she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and needed 24/7 care. Helped her with finances, errands, meals, cleaning. She was able to perform personal care with supervision, gradually needing more and more help. Frequent reassurance of surroundings. Daily meal prep, housekeeping, medication management and errands/ appointment management. I've been her legal guardian since May, 2017. I currently work for an Elder Care company but only have very part time hours so am looking to fill the gap a little. **I live in a somewhat rural area and if I need to travel 30-45 minutes to assist you, I have to charge $25-$27 per hour to make it worth that travel time and fuel costs.
