About Julianne

My name is Julianne and I would love to work part-time as a tutor. I can tutor students in the following subjects - Spanish, English, ESL, and Social Studies (all levels). I can tutor in other subjects as needed depending on the level. I have a BA in Spanish and Global Studies from St. Lawrence University and I am currently a graduate student at St Michael's college in the MA TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) program. I'm working to obtain my master's degree and teaching license to become certified to teach English language learners. Additionally, I have several years of teaching and tutoring experience. I worked as a Spanish tutor and teaching assistant in college. I also worked as a teaching assistant in a bilingual social studies classroom in which I provided students with academic and social emotional support. I also have several years of experience running youth social emotional learning workshops at both education and refugee resettlement nonprofits.
