Hello! My name is Julianne , and I am a first grade teacher! I taught second grade for four years, and first grade for one year. I have a degree an elementary education (K-6), and am certified in Orton Gillingham, which is direct, explicit, multisensory, structured, sequential, and prescriptive way to teach literacy, and is especially impactful to those who reading, writing, and spelling does not come easily to, such as those with dyslexia. In addition to being a classroom teacher, I have experience tutoring students 1-1 both online and in person. I am very passionate about teaching, and love to help others enjoy learning just as much as I do. Depending on distance, I can come to your home or we could meet up at a library!
