I have several years of caregiving experience. I worked as a caregiver in Colorado while completing my undergraduate degree. I then went on to caregiver for my grandmother during the summer. I recently lived in Dallas and worked as an Enrichment Leader for a senior living center called Belmont Village. There I planned and taught classes for the dementia residents, ranging from minor to advanced dementia. I have extensive experience working with dementia patients, including feeding, cleaning, and companionship. I loved working with my residents, and grew close to many of them during that position. I can't wait to continue this work again!
