About Juliana

I started working with kids when I was a teenager, babysitting for neighbors. I started working every summer I could at a residential outdoor education and environmental stewardship-focused summer camp. I worked there whenever I had a free summer (when I was 17, 18, 19, 22, and 25). In addition, I have helped run a teen program; was an assistant teacher for a nature school; and worked as an environmental educator at a local nonprofit in 2024 and 2025. I like working with kids because they are endlessly interesting, funny, creative and passionate! I learn so much from kids, and hope that they learn from me as well. With kids, I love doing activities such as arts and crafts, outdoor recreation, reading or writing, etc. Ideally, I would love to find a communicative family that is looking for consistent child care on a regular or semi-regular basis. If you would like me to help with homework, I also have experience as a tutor and am happy to help with that for no extra charge!
