About Juliana

Working in a senior living home whether that be as a member of the dining crew or a volunteer with hospice, I learned a lot regarding elder care and communication. I'd describe my personality as smiley, kind, and extroverted. I like caring for seniors because I think we help each-other feel understood as people and comfortable with the more uncomfortable/scary things in life. I'm looking for a job that I can be a companion for a friendly senior. I started caring for seniors in 2024 working for a retirement home and have volunteered with elder companionship in the end of life for the last year and a half. In my spare time, I like to play piano, read, hike, bake, play games, hangout with friends, do arts and crafts, watch TV, and go to cafes. One thing you should know about me is I love listening so if your senior is a story teller, I think I would be a great match. My skills include communication, calmness in emotionally charged events, and attentiveness.
