Hi! My name is Julia and I am a 4th-grade teacher in the St. Louis area. I've been teaching for several years, but have been babysitting for 10+ years. I've watched all ages, and multiple children at at a time. I can help with homework after-school, help with meals or cleaning, or just to hangout with the kiddos! Per my career choice - I love kids! Leaving the house and going on adventures tends to be my favorite, but staying at home and playing games, making crafts, or building forts are equally as fun! It may be hard to believe, but Julia is the best child care professional I have ever used. From day number one, Julia was perfect for my kids (8yr boy and a 14 yr girl). Already these two of these mix like water and oil (young brother and teenage daughter). Julia showed and almost uncanny ability to find the common ground and keep their interest in whatever activity she executed with them. Julia didn't just plug them up to a game center, TV, etc. and walk away. Even during times were negotiation or conflict resolution skills were needed--Julia delivered, as if she's been doing this for years! She stayed engaged with them throughout. I know, because I talked to the kids each time after. They loved her and are always excited to hear that she's coming over! Whether lunch or dinner, Julia came through in these areas as well! Julia's attitude, communication style and drive to deliver a quality job really do show! I will absolutely continue to choose Julia for future times.
