About Julia

Hi! I'm Julia, a 26-year-old grad student living in Denver. I study psychology and am working towards a career as a trauma-informed therapist in humanitarian spaces. I started babysitting when I was 11, and have subsequently cared for infants, toddlers, and kids from K-12 ages. I'm interested in working with kids professionally, but I've always loved kids and hope to be a parent one day myself. As a babysitter I'm warm, a great listener, a natural mediator and problem solver, and very forward thinking. In my free time, I love cooking and find so much catharsis in connecting with people over a good meal, I'm a big reader and writer, and I'm trying to get back into collaging or painting as a creative outlet. Given my school schedule I'm hoping to find a babysitting/nannying gig to support a family a few days a week.
