About Julia

Growing up I was always the youngest, so I wasn't exposed to working with kids until college. I graduated from LSU with a teaching degree and soon had a job as a high school history teacher. I left the field of teaching to transition to working as a registered behavior technician doing applied behavioral therapy with young children with autism; I've been working as an RBT for the past 3 years. I recently graduated with a masters degree in applied behavioral analysis (ABA). I've hade the experience of working with children with varying skills and personalities over the years. I like working with kids because you get to see their skill sets grow and develop; there's nothing more rewarding. I started working with kids when I was in undergrad at LSU. I first started as a high school teacher before leaving the field of teaching to work with young children with autism.
