About Julia

Hi, I'm Julia! I've been caring for children for over a decade - starting as a teenage babysitter and continuing with families in my Park Slope neighborhood after college. I've worked with newborns, toddlers, and school-aged kids, and families describe me as warm, dependable, and easy to connect with. Beyond babysitting, I spent several summers at sleepaway camp as a counselor, activity leader, and later a division director. I also taught counselor training workshops on child development and age-appropriate care, which gave me valuable experience leading groups, planning activities, and helping children feel safe, supported, and curious about the world around them. I believe every interaction matters. I bring patience and intuition to each moment, pay close attention to children's needs, and love turning everyday routines into opportunities for creativity, learning, and joy.
