About Julia

I have a degree in Secondary Education - Family and Consumer Sciences. I have taught preschool, worked as a substitute teacher, was a nanny for two summers, coached 7 seasons of youth basketball, and worked one summer as a camp counselor. As a nanny, I helped the kids keep their reading and math skills sharp with flash cards, reading with them, and making sure they did their summer workbooks. I prepared meals for them, took them swimming, bowling, to the movies, and to the park. We road our bikes around the neighborhood, and did crafts. I enjoy reading, watching movies, shopping and spending time with my friends and family. My husband and I like to go to concerts and travel. We enjoy watching football, basketball, and baseball. We are active in our church and that keeps us busy as well.
