I have worked at an elementary school in BVSD as a para-educator in a program for children with intensive special needs for 6 years. The children I have worked with have diverse diagnoses and unique challenges and gifts. It is a joy getting to know my students and learning how to best connect, interact, and communicate with each one in the most positive and nurturing way. I also love working with children who do not have special needs and I am available several days a week to provide after school care.
