About Julia
Experience: 6 yrs
Hi! My name is Julia and I'm an enthusiastic English tutor with a passion for helping students develop their confidence and communication skills! With a degree in English from the University of California, Berkeley and over 6 years of tutoring experience, I am comfortable working with learners of all ages to develop their grammar, reading comprehension, writing, or speaking skills. My approach is supportive and flexible, as I know that no two people learn the same. In our first meeting, I aim to identify the goals of our tutoring sessions through open communication with both the student and their parents so that we can develop a plan for success that is challenging, but not overwhelming. I am comfortable tutoring at your home (I'm pet friendly!), online, or at a coffee shop.
