I hired Julia as a nanny in mid-July 2026, but luck would have it that I was laid off the very next day. Due to the new financial constraints, I am no longer in a position to move forward, however, I felt it important to give Julia a rating based on my experiences with her throughout the hiring process. Julia is a caring, knowledgeable, patient person, who my 8-monthold took to immediately upon meeting her. She impressed during her video call screening, and even more so when she agreed to meet for an in person interview (even Grandma attended). I was extremely excited to bring her aboard after filtering out the other candidates, and though it is extremely unfortunate to have had to backtrack after agreeing to move forward, I hope that this layoff is extremely temporary and that we can revisit being my child's nanny once more.
