About Julia

Hi! I'm Julia and I'm currently a freshman majoring in Middle Childhood Education with a Co-Major in Child Life. I love working with kids and I'm outgoing and social. I enjoy planning fun activities, doing crafts, playing games, and keeping kids engaged while also making sure they feel safe and comfortable. I worked at a daycare for 3 years caring for children from 3 months to 12 years old, so I have experience with a wide range of ages, along with teaching dance, and interning in 2nd and 5th grade classrooms. I also currently tutor and volunteer as a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters. I'd describe my personality as energetic, caring, and responsible. I'm patient and good at staying calm in a verity of situations, I also love coming up with fun activities, games, and crafts to keep them engaged and happy. I'm looking for a job that gives me the opportunity to work with a great family and create a fun and positive environment this summer!
