Hello! I have 3 years of experience as a live in caregiver for my grandmother who had dementia. My responsibilities in the beginning included meal preparation and light housework. As her dementia progressed and she was bed bound, I did all care including toileting, feeding, wound care, medication administration as well as catheter care. She sadly passed away on hospice in March of 2023 and I have felt compelled to help someone else in her situation. I am compassionate, caring and soft spoken. I strongly believe that aging adults should feel like they are maintaining as much control over their situation as possible. I also understand how emotional and heart wrenching of a time this is for family members. I have experience with feeding tube(nasal and G/J) PICC/central lines and ports.
