Hi there! My name is Julia. I'm new to Boston! I have 15 years of nannying and babysitting experience. I absolutely love being around children. I love their spirit and curiosity. It's always been refreshing to me. After years of trying out other occupations, I always come back to nannying as it brings me the most joy and fulfillment. I have nannied for specific families for numbers of years and always open to babysit when a couple needs a night off (most of my friends have children and I am the person they call). With so many years of experience I am comfortable with it all: errands, bedtime, crafts, school, bottles etc. My personal hobbies include playing the ukulele, volleyball, and film photography. My two boys LOVED when Julia would babysit. She was a win-win for kids and parents! She is the ultimate playmate with imaginative play, board games or crafting; has a beautiful voice and loves to sing with/to them; takes ample pictures to share; and does the routine feed, bathe and bedtime with ease. She even had fun bath time and playtime songs that they still sing. And to top it off, after knowing the kids were well cared for, when we would come home the house would be all cleaned up. She has watched my children intermittently for the past 4 years (they are now almost 2 and 5) and does great with each age, Infant-preschool. I am sure she would excel with older kids but I have not experienced that myself.
