About Julia

I'm a recent transplant to Austin, TX from Chicago, excited to be closer to family and to connect with new families in the area. I've been babysitting since I was 13, growing up in a community full of young kids and I've loved it ever since! I've worked with children of all ages, from energetic toddlers to independent pre-teens, and always come prepared with fun activities to keep everyone entertained (and off screens when possible!). Cooking is one of my favorite hobbies, so I'm happy to whip up meals or snacks when needed. I also take pride in being clean and organized, and I'm more than willing to help out around the house. To me, being a great babysitter means building a real connection with the family and, most importantly, the child. I still remember how much I adored the babysitters who made me feel special, seen, and safe and I do my best to be that sitter for the kids I care for. I'm currently available for babysitting from April 28th through May 29th.
