About Julia

Unlocking a student's unique potential through personalized support is the foundation of my teaching philosophy. With a year of experience working with elementary and middle school students, I specialize in English, test preparation, history, and the arts. I assess your child's individual learning style by incorporating visual aids, hands-on activities, and discussions into our sessions. When concepts become challenging, I break them into manageable steps and celebrate every small success to build momentum. I prioritize clear communication with both you and your student to ensure we meet your goals together. Seeing a student's confidence grow as they master new skills remains the most rewarding part of my work. I am happy to meet at your home, a library, or a community center. I look forward to partnering with you to help your student thrive and reach their full potential.
