About Julia

Hi! My name is Julia and I am a doctoral audiology resident at University of Chicago Medicine finishing up my last year of school. Throughout my time in graduate school, I have developed a particular passion for helping adults and seniors to live fulfilling, social, and authentic lives through hearing healthcare. However, my passion extends beyond just hearing; I strive to create connections with adults and seniors through compassionate, patient, and supportive care. Outside of my clinical experiences, I have worked with adults and seniors with dementia, Parkinson's, and other neurodegenerative disorders. I have also cared for teens and young adults with disabilities and special needs. Additionally, I am BLS CPR certified. In my free time, I love running along the lakefront, spending time with my 2 cats, thrifting, and trying new restaurants in Chicago! I'm looking forward to talking more to see if we are a good fit!
