Hello there, I'm a mother of four grown children, grandmother of one. I was a favorite babysitter throughout my teen years and also sat for a child when mine were young. I love being outdoors and believe sunshine, fresh air and parks are so important for children. I'm also big I to crafts and reading. I'm used to a biggish family so more than one child is okay:) Thank you! I'd describe my personality as laid back, cheerful, patient. I like working with kids because what could be more important? Children make me laugh, they aren't boring and they keep me young! I'm looking for a job that I can make a positive difference in someone's life. I started working with kids when I was a teenager. In my spare time, I like to hike with my dog, family and crocheting, jewelry I have been a nurse aide for many years. My skills include I pay attention to the child, not my phone! I can prepare healthy snacks and meals. I have handled first aid situations calmly as a pediatric nurse aide.
