About Julia

Hi! My name is Julia :) I've been working with kids for about 6 years now, primarily in day-camp environments along with after school programs and babysitting. I am so grateful for the opportunity to promote a safe and welcoming environment for kids to be themselves and have fun. I love leaning into the special interests of every kid I get to work with, whatever they may be! I started working with kids through a volunteer program at a local summer camp when I was 14! I've been working in childcare and recreation ever since, including the planning and supervision of that same volunteer program and camp. In my free time, I love crafting - really any sort of art project. I have always had a passion for expressing my creative side through different art forms. Most recently I've been enjoying ceramics classes at my college! I'm currently majoring in Studio Arts and hope to apply my passion for working with young people as an art teacher in the future.
