About Julia

Back in college, I worked in first and second grade classrooms for 3 semesters. Responsibilities include helping with reading, writing, and math. As a part of the curriculum, I have taken courses in elementary-level school courses, including English and math. I have also helped students with their homework while babysitting. I also taught kindergarten through second grade as a para-educator in a couple different elementary schools. I graduated from Orange County High School of the Arts' Classical Voice/Opera conservatory, and am currently a music minor. I have two and a half years of music history, 7 years of music theory, one semester of pedagogy, and 8 years of voice lessons. I also have a love of musical theater, performing in shows since I was 9 years old, and have taken multiple acting classes in the last 20 years. I have worked as a counselor at 3 musical theater camps, helping hundreds of students with their singing, dancing, acting, and stage presence.
