About Julia

Hello, I'm Julia! I'd describe myself as organized, friendly, and patient. I'm currently a freshman at Tulane University, majoring in biomedical engineering and minoring in math on the pre-med track. I can help students with a wide range of math topics, including basic math skills, pre-algebra, Algebra 1 and 2, geometry, and Calculus 1 and 2. I'm also very well-versed in physics, including college-level physics. One thing you should know about me is I have taken honors and accelerated math since 6th grade. I also have a lot of experience working with kids-I've been a full-time nanny and babysitter every summer since high school. I first started tutoring during my senior year of high school, after a few of my math teachers recommended me to a local parent whose daughter needed help with math.
