I've been a Registered Nurse for close to 30 years. I retired from nursing 10 years ago to help care for my aging Mother until her passing. Shortly thereafter I started caring for husband when he developed Alzheimer's. I cared for him approximately 5 years until his passing 1. 5 years ago. Due to my own personal experience, I can totally empathize with those struggling with caring for their loved ones. I have a lot of compassion and knowledge. I am a great communicator and provide loving but professional support. I recently cared for an 89 yr old gentleman for six months until his passing. I assisted with meals, some very light housekeeping including laundry and medication management. I also provided transportation to appointments as needed.
