Hello, My name is Mavis (legal name: Julia). I'm a college student with experience supporting children through nannying, coaching, and informal tutoring with peers, siblings, and younger students. I work well with a range of ages and learning styles, and I focus on keeping explanations clear, structured, and approachable. I'm especially comfortable helping with reading, writing, and organizing ideas, as well as general homework support. I'm attentive, detail-oriented, and adapt quickly to each student's needs. I studied Chinese for 14 years and earned the Seal of Biliteracy, and I bring that same consistency and focus into how I support students academically.
