About Julia

Looking to pet sit over the summer (May-August) and onwards - I'm training to be a dental assistant/hygienist. Though not a dog owner myself, I have experience caring for many family dogs - including golden retrievers, terriers, and other small dogs. I would do best with a well trained dog who loves walks! Playing fetch and frisbee are also some of my favorite things to do with the pups I've watched! Also I have taken care of all sorts of cats since I was in middle school! At home I have two cats, Pico and Queso. Also, I have experience giving oral medications to senior cats, nail trimming, and general cat care. Lately I have been gaining experience in caring for aquatic turtles and box turtles - since September 2025 I have been working as an animal care volunteer at Long Branch Nature Center. I have really enjoyed working with exotic animals and working with a county Naturalist has been such a great experience.
