About Julia

Hi! My name is Julia and I'm a recent graduate from Binghamton University, where I earned a bachelors degree in Anthropology. I've always loved animals and children as my mother has her masters in early childhood education and has always incorporated her teachings into our home lives. Over the last few years I've spent time babysitting two twin boys (age 7), as well as two young girls (ages 5 and 8). I also spent time in high school volunteering at a local environmental center, assisting with the classes for children ages 4-13. I'd describe my personality as loving, charismatic, and determined. I like working with kids because I think it's so important to nurture the younger generation. Kids are so special, yet so fragile and impressionable, which is why I think it takes a special kind of person to have the patience and grace to truly raise a child. I enjoy being around them and hearing their perspectives while actively helping them figure out their place in the world.
