I am very much an animal lover and grew up in a family that always had dogs, usually two at a time. I was responsible, along with my siblings, for caring for the dogs, which included feeding, walking, grooming, and also in the care of their general well being. I loved being around them and always spent as much time as I could with them. As I got older I was also responsible for taking them to the vet when needed. I have been a volunteer at a Humane Society for 15 years. I also take care of my sister's dog frequently when she is out of town for work. I currently own a cat and a guinea pig. I have spent my life around animals and am very comfortable with them.
