I took care of my mother from October, 2003 to November 1, 2012. After my sister & father died in 2003. In 2010, my mother had a stroke and Alzheimer's l moved her in with us, bathed, laundry, meals, finances, meds, and every personal situation that needed to be done. It was a learning experience as well as a loving experience. Mom passed away November, 2012. I then worked for over a year taking care of a 91-year-old woman with personal care, oxygen, taking blood sugars twice a day, medication, personal care, meals, housekeeping, and companionship. I have recently cared for a couple. 87-year-old man and his 77-year-old wife. I also took care of a 93-year-old woman with dementia, meal prep and personal care. Now I take care of a 95-year-old woman, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sunday's with companionship, personal care, meal prep.
