Having raised five children, I understand the importance of reliable and loving childcare. While my own grandchildren are grown, I find myself missing the joy of caring for little ones, especially newborns. I am patient, calm, and see myself as a "mommy when mommy is gone," providing a safe and nurturing environment. I prioritize open communication and follow parents' preferred methods, offering verbal updates and regular texts or calls. I am comfortable enforcing household rules, favoring open conversations and explanations over punishment. I enjoy playing board games, reading, doing puzzles, coloring, and taking walks with children. I have four years of experience caring for children aged 0-11, 4-5, 6-11, and 12+. I am comfortable caring for one child at a time. I have a high school degree, a car, and I am comfortable with pets. I am also willing to help with carpooling and crafts. I am CPR and First Aid trained.
