About Judith

It is my privilege to recommend Judith to you for the care of your loved one.  Judith took wonderful care of my mother at home allowing her to stay in her house two years longer than she would have been able to stay otherwise.  My mother had dementia and keeping her in familiar surroundings after my father’s death made my mother happy and was a blessing to the entire family.  Judith is extremely compassionate and completely trustworthy.  My family and I got to know Judith and regard her as family.  We felt so fortunate to have her live and care for our mother these last two years. We hired Judith after my father passed away because my mother had dementia and she was unable to live alone.  My father’s wish was to keep my mother in the home that they shared and Judith was able to move in with my mother immediately and my mother was well cared for.  My mother died peacefully after two years with Judith caring for her in her home.  Judith brought much joy to my mother and to our family knowing that my mother was well taken care of. While caring for my mother Judith performed a variety of daily activities.  She assisted my mother with bathing, dressing, preparing and feeding meals, and administering medications. She took my mother for rides around town or to the parks to watch kids play.  She took her outside during nice weather daily.  Judith would drive my mother to appointments or over to visit me.  My mother loved going for rides and sometimes when my mother was restless, Judith would just take her for a ride.  Judith was always seeking activities that would keep my mother’s mind thinking and she played cards with her and gave her puzzles and tasks.   Judith took care of the laundry and the bed linens as well as cleaning the house.  My mother was always well groomed with her hair and nails done and when we would visit the house was clean.  My mother was always in good spirits too!  Judith was a wonderful companion and caregiver for my mother.  Having a one-on-one caregiver helped to keep my mother’s mind as sharp as possible.  In the later months as my mother’s health began to rapidly fail, Judith was knowledgeable regarding the stages of dementia and would inform us as my mother began to decline.  It was Judith who helped us navigate the stages of this disease and she would adjust her care as my mother needed from pureeing her food to diapering her.  In the end she kept her comfortable as she was dying in her final week.
