About Jude

Hi! My name is Jude - a real-life, Irish-American Mary Poppins with a funny accent. My husband is a Colonel in the military - we moved to Anchorage a year ago - and I have a 25-year-old daughter who has just finished her 2nd Master's Degree in London, England. I absolutely adore children, I'm lots of fun, really kind, stable, loving and patient but also quite firm when needed. I am truly passionate about children's education, imagination and learning through laughter - I believe it's never too early to start teaching our kids - even the littlest ones are smarter than we think. As the eldest of 4 with 2 working parents, I looked after my younger brothers and sister growing up and they turned out brilliantly... OK, I may have taught them a few ridiculous dance moves but they forgive me:) I love to cook, I love pets, I have my own car, I don't smoke and I'm certified in Pediatric and Adult First Aid, CPR and AED.
