About Joy

Hi! I have a B. A. degree in Child and Family Development from San Diego State University. I have about five years experience as a preschool teacher. I achieved about five years experience as a substitute teacher. I gained about three years experience as a nanny/family assistant to four families. My husband and I have taken care of my sick father-in-law (live-in) for about six months. Sadly, he has recently passed away. My father-in-law was pretty much immobile/had difficulty using a walker, so we'd help him with all daily tasks consisting of: making food, bathing, clothing, mobility, driving him to run errands/doctor appointments, and most importantly, companionship. I'm happily married to my husband of 18 years and we have raised four of our kids- age 16, 14, 6, and 5! I love keeping things clean and organized! I've enjoyed eating vegan with my family for about 2. 5 years!
