About Joy

Hi, I'm Joy! I'm a nurturing, dependable caregiver with years of nannying and tutoring experience. I believe every child deserves to feel safe, seen, and heard -- and I bring that belief into everything I do. My nanny experience includes caring for two boys (ages 2 and 4) over a summer, with open daily communication with their mom to make sure everyone's needs were met. I also nannied throughout high school and more recently on a short-term basis. I tutored elementary students in reading (K-5), including kids with learning disabilities, and spent years as a university teaching assistant. I hold degrees in English (BA), Philosophy (MA & BA), and am starting an MSW in child welfare this fall. I'm hands-on, calm, and someone both kids and parents can count on. Available full-time now through late August, then part-time after (classes Mondays and Tuesdays only). I'd love to connect!
