About Joy

Making a positive impact on children's lives is my passion, which is why I've dedicated the last six years to teaching kids (pre-k to high school). My college degree in special education early childhood have equipped me with the skills to care for children aged 0-17. I am patient, calm, friendly, and approachable. I enjoy playing outdoor sports, board games, puzzles, and educational games. I'm comfortable caring for up to three children. I always follow the parents' lead when enforcing household rules and communicating about their child's day, using their preferred method. I can also help with cooking, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. I am a certified special education teacher. I'm eager to bring my experience and enthusiasm to your family, creating a nurturing environment where your children can thrive.
