About Joy

Hi! I'm a dependable, warm-hearted caregiver with 15+ years of experience supporting children of all ages through roles at the YMCA, Disney Cruise Line, UCI, and in EdTech. I've led before/after-school programs, camps, and family service. I always bring energy, creativity, and care to each setting. I recently wrapped up 4 years as a part-time nanny and am now available for weekday and select weekend care in the Long Beach area. I love engaging kids with screen-free fun like arts and crafts, outdoor adventures and music. My goal is to create a calm, safe space where children feel supported, confident, and excited to learn. Whether calming an infant, guiding a toddler through routines, or helping a school-aged child with homework and friendships, I tailor my approach to their needs. I'm happy to help with drop-offs/pick-ups, light meals, homework, and pet care. I value open communication and love partnering with families to help kids thrive.
